Do you know Sharon Santoni? She's a brilliant (and highly successful) woman with a particularly inspiring story.
British by birth, French by adoption (and by heart), she is happily spreading the French art of living abroad. What started with a blog in 2010 about her wonderful Normandy home (which you can discover on her Instagram account), and the creation of a large community around her passions, has become a rich and exciting entrepreneurial project with the creation of a real media platform, a subscription box, and even a travel agency!
You won't be surprised to learn that part of her audience is based in the United States, where Francophiles are numerous, curious and enthusiastic!
In 2019, the My French Country Home blog evolved into a luxury digital and glossy print magazine that is now entering its 6th year of publication. You can imagine our delight when we learned that we had the opportunity to present our brand of chic slippers made in France in such a showcase!
Virginie Courtieu, the creator of VOLUBILIS Paris, is profiled in the Business Woman section of the January-February 2024 issue of My French Country Home. She explains her background, what led her, after a career in media and tech, to launch her brand of luxury indoor shoes and slippers made in France. She shares what motivates her: a passion for design, the challenges of entrepreneurship, her ambition to revive a category - slippers - that deserves the best craftsmanship and the finest materials, and her desire for French fashion that's more responsible and local.
