What joy to start this return with VOLUBILIS PARIS at the Maison & Objet trade show, which took place last week at the Paris Nord - Villepinte exhibition center, in contact with professional clients!
So, if you are not familiar with this environment, you may be wondering: Maison & Objet, what is it?
It's a huge trade show, as you will see for yourself, which brings together professionals in design, home, and lifestyle: 2500 exhibitors in 7 halls, nearly 130,000 square meters of exhibition space, and also an impressive attendance in this 2023 return as nearly 60,000 visitors were represented (retailers, architects, designers, etc.) from over 140 countries.
And for VOLUBILIS PARIS, this past week was of rare intensity!
Our booth, it's fun and paradoxical, was located in the Fashion Accessories section, while our philosophy leads us to develop timeless and durable products, whose lines and quality are... outside the frantic rhythms and constant renewal of fashion!
That said, we were fortunate and very proud to be selected for the French Made showcase, which highlighted remarkable brands that have chosen French manufacturing.
Now, this edition also saw the growth of international visitors (+6% compared to September 2022), all of whom continue to be attracted to the French art of living!
Certainly, it's not easy for VOLUBILIS and its collection of indoor slippers to stand out among the 1,125 French brands present at Maison & Objet, but the momentum is more significant than anything else, for buyers seeking unique, distinctive, and increasingly sustainable products.
And, good news, the 'Made in France' argument, a guarantee of style and quality, carries weight, both for boutiques and end customers.
More than ever, the process and questions are indeed at the heart of concerns: understanding how our VOLUBILIS indoor slippers are crafted, questioning the quality of materials and their origin, our natural leathers, our French ribbons.
It is, therefore, with pride that we had the opportunity to showcase our latest made in France slipper models, to let people feel the soft materials of our slippers, leather and velvet, to demonstrate the flexibility and lightness of our ballet flats, to experience the comfort of our indoor moccasins.
It was also a great pleasure to tell our story, our love for French craftsmanship and well-done work, to explain our approach and to highlight our partner manufacturers.
Finally, we experienced great joy in listening to our passionate and engaging customers, in taking stock and exchanging with them.
